During my college years, going with a girl for about 3 months, and had circumstantial evidence she cheated. Me: I think we're done. I breaking up with you. Her: Fine. Whatever. But you can't break up with me. What will my friends think?? Me: Don't care. I'm not breaking up with them, I'm breaking up with YOU.

I love great data visuals. Makes the point so much better than reading statistics. Has anyone seen a similar preso using MRA stats, or divorce or hypergamy? The OkCupid charts get tossed around here, and are effective, but a narrated "gumball" version would get the point across to a much larger audience. (I'm looking at you, millennials.)

I dunno. You're 18. Take some time to decide what you want out of your life. Don't ask me. You're an adult. Time to start making decisions for yourself. Of course, if you're not good at it, expect a few fails, but take it in stride as learning how to build the skill. Start with something simple: what do you want for breakfast tomorrow? Slowly work up to "what would I be proud of at 85?". Gotta own each and every choice. Stop blaming others for your misery, especially your parents.

She's trying to pull you back into your proper beta orbit. If you slide back into your place, she'll tease you enough to make you think you have a shot. Current hubby and current beta are in line ahead of you until she rearranges the board to her best advantage. You might be a part of it if you hang around long enough. Good luck with that.

Does any MGTOW really care about Reddit karma? If we needed a dopamine hit the way women do, we wouldn't be here. They feel like they're taking something valuable away since it's all they want - attention.

It was so easy to say that "I'll tell em you raped me". Very casually "I'll tell em you raped me". As if she's said it many times before "I'll tell em you raped me". No hesitation "I'll tell em you raped me". Not worried anyone else will hear or see it "I'll tell em you raped me". Can you look at the women in your life, today, and imagine they have any difficulty saying the same thing: "I'll tell em you raped me".

A former co-worker of mine (mid 40s at the time) used to complain "I'm supposed to be on my 4th husband by now! My grandmother had four ex-husbands by my age and got enough in monthly alimony to never have to work again." She was never married and mad that no one would follow along with the plan. She also did shit work and was later fired.

Nah. More introspection. You already know what it is you want to do. Just be honest about it. You're not admitting it to yourself. The interviewers could sense it. They know that the moment you connect with it, you'd be outta there. Take some time to write it out. Start with the brainstorm. Then whittle it down to a viable idea. Then do some architecting and planning. Put milestones in your calendar and get to fuckin' work. This will take a couple of weeks, so get started!

I see so many guys here get wrapped around the axle on small things they can easily let go. My hope is a long-term perspective will help calm things down. One bad job or bad relationship or bad financial mistake is not the end of the world. We'll live. We are much tougher than we give ourselves credit for.

I read serious articles about The Royal Family ending with the Queen's death. A lot of blahblityblah about "no more monarchs" and "full representation of the people" and "remove them like the Russian czars". Of course, between the lines, it's about letting the Queen be the last memory of England's royalty and never allowing another King.

As another old guy with a similar past, I second this. I watched an old flame get married to the bad boy, have a couple of kids, marriage fails, reach out to old beta orbiters where none would take her, kids grow up & move out then barely see her anymore, and finally settle down with cats. She's 51 today staring down another 30-40 years of living this way.

Brother, just reading this made me relax. My blood pressure dropped and my breathing slowed. I love hearing stories of men who finally get it, and it's very calming. I wish for that kind of peace for every guy here in the MGTOW Hospital. You have connected your happiness to YOUR well-being, not serving someone else. You have been well trained in the stories of your religion and culture. Good luck with that. Ask yourself this: why would an Australian aboriginal believe in Shiv? Or a Native American? Or someone raised as an Irish Catholic? Or Egyptian Muslim? Those around you repeat what you are sharing so often that you think it "must be true". Question that. MGTOW is about helping men learn how we've been raised is a sham, the stories repeated so often are NOT true; most important, women are not the goddess…

It's really not them, it's you. I mean this in a helpful way. They remember you when you were young. They are expecting you to show up that way, regardless of all the great changes you made for yourself in the intervening years. However, you aren't that guy anymore. Your "vulnerability" is trying to play the role they would have you play. A piece of you still values that old life, after all, there were plenty of cool things that happened back then with those people. You don't want to intentional…

I ran my first 5k this morning with my sons. Finished in good time. Then a home-cooked breakfast with them. Out for a motorcycle ride next - the weather is beautiful. Mid-afternoon, we're heading over to a close friend's place who has been cooking all day to eat, drink and be merry into the night. Couldn't ask for a better day.

Yes, you should break up. HOW you break up is the creative part. Write a story from a few years from now that you can live with: "I told her I was broke and she was gone instantly", "I packed her stuff and left it on the lawn", "I just ghosted her", "I told her we make a great couple and should get married as soon as possible, and it scared her too much", insert your version here. The point is you are breaking up, but you can control the story that you'll repeat for the next few months/years.

She's not wrong. It's the core of the MGTOW message: logically equivalent to AWALT. RoF is also not wrong. When enough men are disengaged, civilizations fail affecting those very same women. What am I personally going to do about it? Keep working on what I love, what gives me pleasure, what piques my interest, and make popcorn for the big show. I'm not a wheel cog for them anymore. Men already know men can be assholes. A good portion of this sub is for blue pillers to learn women can be assholes, too. They've kept women on a pedestal their entire lives and truly think women are exempt from "doing bad things". This sub EXCELS at finding the worst of the worst and exposing it, thus delivering the red pill. The other part of the sub is the part you say you enjoy: what men do AFTER realizing their lives can be meaningful to themselves without anyone else's approval.

Similar approach: describe the world as full of decent and indecent people, instead of him/her, black/white, young/old, east/west, religious/atheist. People are cool, or assholes. Thots are assholes. Don't be a thot. Then I tell my sons to stay away from thots. Always keep your eyes open. Assholes are everywhere. Learn how to ID them from a distance and avoid.

It's not love, it's just the bull dyke's turn. She'll learn to hate hot women soon enough, and go her own way. The hot one will reinforce "my looks get me anything I want" and ride the carousel(s) for the next several years. Eventually, the wall will take her. And life will go on. So, what are you doing with your life?
/r/MGTOW18/11/18 05:57 PM

Already took that philosophical journey. Read a ton of stuff. Hundreds of discussions. It boils down to this: pick something you would like to do with your life and get to work on that. No matter what you pick, it's not wrong for you. Everyone you know will have an opinion about what you're doing, so either don't talk about it or say "thanks for sharing" a lot.

Start by spelling it out: Men Going Their Own Way. Own your life. Do something with it you think is valuable. DGAF what other people think of your choices. Never give up your ability to choose. Simple. But not easy.

I adopted a motorcycle. My brain did not solve my divorce. Now I do instead of think about doing. Also, I eat better, I'm running in my first 5K on Thursday, I lost 30 pounds, I got a raise at work, I spend so much time with my sons they are bored of me (a great thing for dads), and I'm a helluvalot happier than I was during 20 years of marriage. Choose your own way and get to it. Don't take forever to decide.

Good evolutionary definition of "hawt" and why women get tingles. No one is questioning AWALT. Armed with this knowledge, we can use it to our advantage or stay far, far away. The problem is not all men know it, and not all that know it will accept it.

OP, this is great insight. Nature has no problem wiping out species with floods, volcanic activity, tsunami, wild fire or hurling giant objects from space. This is a basic tenet of survival. I wish more people would understand that the universe is not benevolent. THEN, maybe, understand that males and females do not have the same methods of survival. That's why men are polygamous and women are hypergamous.

MGTOW survives by transferring ideas, not genes. My "children" are people that hear me talk about it then accept it as a change in their life. No sex required.

Whatever path your on, that's the right path. Write yourself a story that works for you, that gets the results you want in your life. Everything else is conversation. Whenever someone shows up with a story that doesn't work for you, thank them for trying, or ignore them, or tell them to fuck off. Again, whatever works. And, it helps when you don't lie to yourself.

I can back you up on all of this. However, I'm on the other side of divorce after 20 years and three kids. My Ex job hopped a lot, never being satisfied with anything she chose. But, I kept a very tight budget and froze all credit bureaus so there were no hidden cards that could come back on me. WHEN she filed, she wanted out so bad that I ended up with a decent deal and did not get divorce-raped. I have two of three kids and the house. The third kid is the oldest and about to emancipate anyway,…

Nice. Several years before my divorce, I lost some weight. My (then) wife and I were walking into a liquor store to pick up something to drink for the night. Suddenly, she's arm-in-arm with me, pulling me close, turning me toward her. "What? What is it??" I said. "Didn't you see her?" she said. "See WHO?" "That woman who just walked by you was checking you out!" "What woman?" Apparently, my SMV went up and I didn't know it. I never got looks before that moment. I still act like women don't exist…

The first 9 months of child support were "lump sum" as stated in the divorce, delivered last October to cover through June. The rest of 2018 (Jul-Dec) was another "lump sum" in March (mentioned in the post). I have one more to deliver next January and that's it. She'll have her "three wishes". The last check comes with a court filing that my obligation is fulfilled. She'll have to sign the filing to get the last payment. This phone call was simply "Act 2". January will have more fireworks.
