...off the plantation.

Had a great day with my kid, great weather, tomorrow get the boat ready for winter, get my groceries for the week, and have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. Monday is a holiday, so I have all day to do whatever I want.

Come to think of it, I do whatever I want whenever I want, every day.

Starting a new job this week, really looking forward to it, and I'll be learning new skills on top of everything else. It's also much more money which will help accelerate my FU fund, and reduce my time to retirement, though I may go for a bigger sailboat than I planned.

I have more time, more energy, more focus, more savings, more plans, more fun, more toys, more travel, and more actions since my divorce, and even more since I stopped looking for relationships with women. FWB or ONS have been enough when the urge hit, now I don't even look for those.

Among other things listed above, going my own way allowed me to focus on changes I wanted for my life, future and career. I have my retirement plan underway, and worked on a plan and executed the plan that landed me a great position with a great company.

Stay focused on yourself, your life, your dreams, your plans. Make your life happen for yourself. Own your own life, live it your way, don't let anything or anyone keep you from your self-defined destiny.

Greed is good.

Selfishness is good.

Non serviam.
