Contempt just sounds like a fancier way to say 'hate'.

I don't hate women, likewise I don't show contempt towards them. I am, however, fairly apathetic to their troubles and their occasional advances towards me.

Indifference is more apt than contempt. The latter still implies we may care about women.

Regarding women with indifference means we don't waste energy, emotions or time on them. They are not worthy of any of the three.

Contempt is too much work.

I prefer to put women under the same mental category as dog turds and landmines (avoid if possible) and focus on my goals.

You should keep the enemy in your mind during war. Sun Tzu would agree. And how can justice be served if you remove those who have wronged you from your mind? You should care about victory, justice, power etc... If that means thoughts of women are in your mind, so be it.

Yup, hating someone is like drinking poison, while hoping the one you hate will die from it.

It took me a while to understand that if you hate someone for hurting you, it is you who will continue to suffer, while the person who hurt you will give a fuck and probably even sees this as another victory over you.
