I know attention spans are short on the internet, so I'll make this brief.

The ex - This girl was amazing in bed but completely fucking crazy. When we were together, she failed to tell me that I was the other man while her boyfriend was in the air force. She broke up with me at Christmas, but was back in my bed as soon as her boyfriend left following the holidays. She got married to this guy, cheated on him (though he cheated on her too) and even attacked him with a knife. She met this nice guy that was with a girlfriend and tried to make moves on him. They did sleep together, but when he decided to stay with his girlfriend she tried everything to destroy his relationship with the girl. He fucked up, no doubt, but the only reason she wanted to destroy his relationship wasn't because she cared about him, but rather "how could he choose HER over me" - the girlfriend was a little chubby. Basically, her ego was hurt. She then met and married a guy that was pretty fuckin' ugly, but she had control over him. A fews years in and she cheated on him with several guys and even tried to make her way into my bed, despite the fact that I was married by this point. I told her she needed to work on her marriage, which meant (at least to her) breaking up another relationship and pursuing a guy while she was still married to her ugly second husband. Her marriage fell apart (no surprise) but she was fine with that because she was going to be with the new guy. The new guy told her to fuck off, he wanted to stay with his girlfriend (turned fiancé).

It was about this time that she contacted me and gave the story. Now, by this time my wife and I were talking about divorce, but I was still very dedicated to my wife. Regardless, my ex tried to get me to come over and sleep with her because she was feeling rejected. I told her that she needed to get her shit together and stop acting like a spoiled child, which made her stop talking to me again. Thank god.

Well she contacted me last weekend and again this weekend. My ex-wife and I are now divorced, which my ex somehow learned (I will have to kick the ass of one of my friends for talking about my business). Anyway, apparently she and her husband are now living separately and have been for some time. The guy that she was trying to go with came back to her, but was unstable and keyed the car of her husband (talk about adding insult to injury). However, now her and this guy have split because of something she did (she didn't want to talk about it). So now she is alone without any romantic prospects and contacted me because she "wanted to talk" which eventually lead to her saying that masturbation wasn't cutting it and she needed "a fuck buddy". I told her she is female, so that won't be hard. However, she also revealed that while her and her husband are separated, she does not want to finalize the divorce because "then I won't have anyone". I told her it is cruel of her to keep him dragging along. She fucked up, he deserves to be free.

She stopped talking to me last week.

She contacted me again, feeling depressed, because she found a fuck buddy (god - it is so much easier for women) but they had a fight - she didn't give the specifics. She was telling me how she doesn't want a fuck buddy, she wants just one person, "I just want someone that will love me, be true to me, put up with my shit, and not judge me."

I told her that "put up with my shit" was her fatal flaw. I then went on to tell her that if you know that you do something wrong, you should work to correct "your shit" so that there is no "shit" left to "put up with", that the man doesn't have to put up with her shit anymore than she has to put up with his. That relationships are hard and both parties should work to become better partners, which includes fixing your own problems and keeping yourself desirable to your partner. People take each other for granted and get lazy - gain weight, fall back on bad habits and bad behavior, and then wonder why things failed.

She tried to back pedal, but started to hint at what we had... fuckin, 15 years ago. I then told her that my divorce is too fresh (only finalized in July) and that I have my own "shit" to work on before I would even consider taking on a friends-with-benefits situation. Even then, I tried to explain that being alone isn't the end (she started talking about suicide), that you can do other things and put your energy elsewhere, which she refused to here and started going down the "i'm going to kill myself" route, which is just attention.

So... then I said something that I shouldn't have, I told her that if she decides to take her life, that is her choice. I have been suicidal before (I am bipolar - which is part of that "shit" I mentioned) and no one could talk me out of it... but I also didn't tell anyone either, I just planned and was ready to go. It took ME realizing something was wrong and seeking help to stop that behavior. So, if someone is going to kill themselves, they are going to kill themselves. It makes people depressed, but, at the end of the day, it is their choice and their life. So I told her, "If you do plan to kill yourself, just know that I will fly back for your funeral and I will give you a nice eulogy."

She then stopped talking to me.

Now, I know that seems like "OH MY GAWD YOU DIDN'T HELP HER" but she does this shit for attention. She loves herself too much to ever kill herself. In about 6 months or so she will contact me again because her next fuck buddy decided to cut her off.

Damn... I wanted this to be short, sorry guys.
