Keep records of everything. Document everything. Keep your children away from her if she is unfit. If you spend more time in your home or wherever you are staying with them the court will not pull them out. I haven’t won custody yet, ex doesn’t even want to move on with divorce but we are estranged. Missed the sit down with a mediator, moved onto her next host. Going on close to 3 years she hasn’t seen either child. Make sure you take the parenting online course for the state. Proactive. Attorney if need be. It really all depends on how and if she wants to see the children. Keep them safe and happy as can be and if she isn’t in the picture then so be it as long as they get the love they deserve. I won custody of my 3 kids. One thing that helped me big time in court was a calendar that I kept showing the exact times that my kids mother dropped them off and picked them up. It was huge in court. Yes keep records, screenshots of text messages and do not under any circumstances allow your emotions to get the better of you. If she is unfit and dangerous you may want to get a private investigator to get a couple hours of video footage as well.

Youll never get full custudy from what you just said. Been there x10 my ex wife is a recorded/filmed abuser. I had a better lawyer than you ever will. Got 50-50 (granted this is all i wanted + her to go to therapy). Ive seen case files were the mother was slightly poisening her children to keep them sick..got 80% custody. Just go for 50/50. Whoever tries for full custudy is viewed as the bad guy. Get an app like our family wizard to communicate so its ALL out in the open. Maybe she will slip up maybe she wont. Overall if you go for full custudy as a male you better have the BEST damn evidence and lawyer.

Edit: idk your situation and the circumstances. I often equate my situation to others. But if you need to private message for abit man ive been through it all except false rape and molestation charges (my bet is my ex wife is saving those for later because eventaully there is some sort of protection after a certain amount of false accusations, cannot remember off the top of my head but im almost there!!!!).. But CPS, battered womens services, restraining orders, psychological evaulations, guardian ad lightums, parenting coordinators etc. Srsly contact if you need to. Idgaf if you need to call me for an hour I will help. I dont recommend keeping a human mammal away from its biological parent though. Going for 100% is cruel imho.

Won custody of all 4 of mine after almost 8 years. If she's truly unfit, request a custody evaluation. It was what finally got it done. Once the judge hears what a professional thinks about your situation, you have the best chance. Everyone on here has solid advice. Record/document everything. You can get an app to record your phone conversations with the ex.(Tape-a-call) Just don't record her talking with the kids. It's inadmissible in Texas. Most of all, you have to be above the law in all your interactions. Don't get sucked into arguments. Don't call names. Keep GF's away from the kids. Most importantly, don't give up. It's worth it in the end. Good luck. Cheers.
