"Kid, never get married." He would tell me this all the time when I was around 8 and older. I would never question him, partly because I'd get my ass beat if I did (haha), but also because I was simply too young to even understand WHY he was telling me this. Despite never questioning his statement, I found myself recalling his words of wisdom years down the road even after I moved out/away for college...funny thing is, my dad is a true blue thru and thru although he never married my mom (they're still together btw).

Dad approves of my MGTOW mindset, while Mom encourages me to get out of my apartment more (she wants grand-kids). Go figure. Thanks Dad, even though you're as blue as they come, you helped me become successful and only further encourage my success by supporting my personal decisions of well-being.
