This was my comment but, as it’s my best effort to date summarizing female mentality, I figured to make it a post instead:

I’m considerably older than you and just now starting to recognize the AWALT shit attitude. I legitimately think that females, by birth /biology, are (quite literally) sociopaths. Although they display great emotion, they are actually emotionless. Someday science will demonstrate this has its foundations in their neurology. They have a consumer mentality (use then refuse) and will not hesitate to discard you post haste as soon as youre no longer of benefit. What have you done for me lately? No, it’s what are you doing for me NOW. It’s actially really fucking scary. I think one reason guys leave themselves open to be hurt is because we project onto them our loyalty, care, devotion, kindness etc expecting they’ll think and act like us in kind. They don’t. A criminal counts on you assuming he’s as honest as you are. This is how they get you to let ur guard down.

Consider yourself lucky to be catching on to this at such a young age. Many guys on here will tell you the same thing.
