It's just satire, and you can tell because in the story the women seem confused by it, when in reality it has been their entire lives so they just assume they get quota hired and quota promotions because they're actually smart or useful.

It's not satire, because in the real world, this absolutely occurs. I have never seen a woman criticized at a job ever, even behind closed doors. You absolutely can't do it publicly, even when it's done to men in public all the time, because that's how shit rolls. but God forbid you ever criticize a woman in public, or private, or whatever else.

Like a river going over rapids, it just goes around the rocks. Companies do the same with women. They are quietly "promoted" out of the way to jobs that are meaningless.

Jobs at companies with titles like "business analyst", "technical architect", "risk management" are classic "forward email" type jobs you stick useless women in. And they do nothing, and anything they do accomplish, most likely when given a "fish file", is ignored or irrelevant, but you can't get rid of these people until a layoff or division is closed down as an excuse.

Female privilege at work place is just like those superhero movies nowadays, they are placed artificially. Men do all the hard work and these females just come in and take over the cushy jobs and leadership roles.
