Imagine this: You're happy.

A friend comes along and tells you that if you ever get bored, or find a cuter girl, you can take half her things.

If she ever gets too loud with you, you can have her arrested.

You have a kid, and your friend reminds you that the kid belongs to only you, and she has to get along with you for access.

You don't have to work or succeed, because you have been elevated above this person as a citizen. You know that this is never something you would consider. But, after years of watching others ditch their wives for Jamaican trips, you start to fantasize.

You both get in a really bad fight. The sex stops. Weeks go by.

Your phone starts blowing up from women wanting sex. And look! One of them is in.... Jamaica....

Your wife comes home from work and walks through without looking your way.

Could you exist with this kind of power over a human being? Maybe. Can she? Maybe. Studies show that when humans are given power over other humans, they ALWAYS result to exercising that power. I don't believe women are bad, in general (though I've met a few).

I simply believe, like many of us, that if you cohabitate with another human in a society that gives that kind of power to her and celebrates the behavior, you WILL fail. Not because all women are bad, but because humans are flawed.
