For various reasons I was just reading this paper from author Marco Del Giudice. The article provides a descriptive overview of gender differences in personality, social cooperation and competition (including aggression and play), and verbal and nonverbal communication.

Things that might be highlighted are Males and females may differ not just in the mean value of a trait or behavior, but also in their variability around the mean, which one could roughly translate into AWALT (but not AMALT), and the higher sociability–gregariousness of women (another AWALT sign).

Other takeaways:

  • gender-egalitarian societies increase the differences between gender traits, and a prominent feature of female social relationships is social exclusion, an indirect aggression tactic in which a target individual is ostracized by the others. This translates into the risk men take when getting married and having children. When in a divorce it is more natural to women to take away the children, as that is the more natural way to act for a woman. Make sure to sign those prenups and include children in them (even if there aren't any yet).

  • Males tend to form larger, activity-oriented, competitive groups in which hierarchies tend to be stable and individual relationships require comparatively little emotional investment. Female groups are more emotion-focused and are characterized by unstable hierarchies and strong egalitarian norms; competition is often indirect and less openly confrontational., which can be seen as the basis for passive-aggressive behavior by women.

  • Women don't talk about relationship issues if there is a risk for confrontation: On average, males interrupt their conversation partners more than females do; gender differences are especially large in the use of intrusive interruptions, which can be unambiguously interpreted as a form of dominant behavior, so a man being a man in a (heated) conversation will always trigger a feeling of insecurity, as women do not communicate and understand risks in the same way men do. Furthermore it will confirm her biased thinking toward the man and increase the likelihood of following passive-aggressive and ostracized behavior.

  • Finally, females are generally better at processing and decoding other people’s nonverbal behavior which means words are truly meaningless.

Just leaving this here for reference and possible discussion (publishing to TRP was denied by the mods).
