So there are studies that say women initiate 60% or 70% of all divorces. What I wanna know is, how many divorces are the consequence of the womans actions. A man files for divorce because the wife cheats, or nags him to death, etc. But how many women have a seemingly good reason for divorce, like a cheating husband? When you take that into account, you would likely end up with far more accurate data on how marriage works than "women initiate 60% of divorces". Allow me to explain. Let's say women initiate 60% of divorces. 1 out of 10 times, she had a good reason, like a cheating or abusive husband. Men initiate 40%, and 1 out of 10 times he just traded for another woman. This would mean 90% of divorces were the womans fault. You could of course go even deeper into this, like how many of those cheating husbands did it because their wives weren't putting out, or got fat, and how many men left their wives for other women because of those same reasons. Therefore the number would be even higher, 93%, maybe 98%? Who knows! I've never been married, and I never will be, these are just my thoughts. This is all just hypothetical. But, I am willing to bet that it's more than that 60% when women are to blame.
