I've suspected it; rather innocuous posts going to 0 basically instantly. I find it laughable that anybody would take the time or trouble to do that for idiotic reddit points, or karma, or whatever they call it. But, I suppose it's easier than trying to refute whatever I'm saying, so there's that.

All the little sensitive bitches on /r/Selfimprovement tend to down vote me - even if i give sound and non-controversial advice.

I like the subreddit but an answer that incorporates lots of feels tends to be the top rated comment. You will find this as a constant even within people asking for advice in everyday problems.
