A few years ago I was 34ish, and I was seeing a 21 y.o. 9/10. The phone never left her fucking hand. Hot? Check. Good in bed? Check. Acting like an autistic moron unable to make eye contact for fear of looking away from iPhone? Check.

Never yelled at her about it. Then again, I don't make a habit of yelling at people about their poor personal decisions, especially people I don't care about.

Fellow Millenial checking in, few facts about our generation & phones:

Majority of our population is glued to their phones, especially women.

Phones provide people easy narcistic cravings

(Gotta keep up with _____ , So and so got married, So and So does _______, let me watch snapchats of Chad, Tyrone and Becky and compare them to you, lets read about something on facebook!

Phones provide easy access for advertising and consumerism to take over your life.

(Lets face it, companies WANT everyone like this, we live in a disposable society, where things are made cheap, easy and with a shelf life of 3 years Cough Phones, but you'll always find the money to pay for a new ______, no matter what.. May sound cliche, but in my grandparent's time, shit was made to last, but companies could not make money off shit that was reliable and lasted long. )

Social media of all types, feeds the narcissistic ego and can control pockets of population based on what the herd "likes".

(Feels bad when you post something and people dont like it huh? You must be a loser since your not popular, maybe you should spend more cash doing something exciting and to compete with Chad, Tyrone and Becky to show off your feathers... bro!)

Consumerism runs wild because you have to "Keep up with the Joneses" and be like the herd. Phones give you easy access to buy junk.

(How many times do you see a married couple and the woman primarily is the buyer / consumer sitting on the couch browsing amazon and shit all day... ALOT... Yet the man must sacrifice his free time, space, house workshop areas, trips and cool things he wants to buy to satisfy the controlling female...)

Victimizing runs wild, phones provide quick releases to white knights who will always be like "how horrible!" ... No one can oppose the victim's point of view or challenge them on facts, because it makes you a horrible person.

(You see it constantly with SJW / PC / White knight / Feminism stuff. )

Best thing to do is go your own way, and not care what others think. MGTOW!

I'm pretty sarcastic so whenever my friends are all on their phones, I just abruptly say, SO HOW IS EVERYONE'S PHONE DOING? Or ask them to put away their phone, because "This is real people time".

It makes everyone break out of the phone trance.

I feel ya. I remember being impressed by a wired in phone in my aunts car during high school days in the early 80's. That fucking bitch still wont get off her phone but now shes got a blue tooth earpiece and walks around like shes insane talking to herself.
