Hey everyone. I feel weird but in an oddly good way with tingles. A little over a decade ago I went with Xbox/Xbox 360 because most of my friends had Xbox Live and we all enjoyed playing video games together. Fast forward to today I have 2 360s, PS4, WiiU, Switch, PSP Go and gaming computer.

My friend got me into Dark Souls but I came fairly late to it but for any gamer I don't think I need to say no more on the series. Up to this day I have achieved 100% completion in Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne with all side quests, pvp and shenanigans. You can see that Demon's Souls, the original that started it all, is not on the list. Something hit me yesterday that with all of this the only Demon's Souls experience I have it watching a quick YouTube video and then it hit me that I can have it! I need to have it! I deserve to have it! So I went to my local GameStop and behold there was 1 last, sadly used copy of Demon's Souls for $16. Disk is in pristine condition, came with the book (when's the last time we had that right) and the box will be in good condition once I remove all those refunded stickers and I bought, also sadly, a used PS3 Slim 120 GB. I don't like buying used but at this point I totally understand and am okay with it. Final cost PS3, 2 year warranty, Demon's Souls copy, and disk protection warranty ran me $170 bucks on GameStop Credit Card. Not even a sliver of a dent because of good credit history.

When I got home I felt like a little kid. It didn't stink and was in good condition. Long cable for controller me to sit on the couch and charge it with my IQ charger. Booted right up, ran an update, synced my trophies, set up component (had to use component cable because HDMI are taken by other consoles) and I was ready. The only issue is that my entertainment center can house 3 consoles and Switch can be stood on the table top on the side so I will work out logistics later for PS3.

I was good to go. I fired up the game. I know they stopped their online services a month ago (maybe we will get Demon's Souls for PS4 after Dark Souls Remastered who knows) but I can say I have the original and I will be 100% that game. Like I said I felt like a kid on a decade old console. It's felt surreal. I still die hard even though I am not new to the series and it's just, just wow.

Why am I sharing this? Simple. MGTOW. You can do and own whatever the hell you want. Treat your self because you can! You're the driver of the economy so spend it on you. Not anybody else. Nobody deserves your stuff. You can have your cake and eat it too and if they decide to release it for PS4 I don't care because PS3 original Demon's Souls is original and I'll buy it on PS4 also, don't care. I honestly should have done this sooner and this is chump change as far as cost is concerned. In my opinion this is only achieved as a solo person going his own way. No way in hell can one enjoy this light if a nagging girlfriend or a wife.

Now I can finally play this masterpiece the way it's meant to be played. I'll also be taking recommendations on good PS3 games now so hit me with your recommendations.
