Actually on TRP there was a post a while back that pointed out the online revolution has given betas a chance to hit on and flirt with women they would never dare talk to . For the really pretty women sure they'd git hit on and approached anywhere during anytime in history but the average and ugly ones ? There's no way in hell they'd have packs of men waving the down to date without online dating .
Sure they'd be able to find a beta to take care of them but the worst thing about online dating is the best thing about online dating literally anyone is a message away and for a generation raised on computers it means plenty of people feel more confident and comfortable online than they ever would chatting in person .
I have a friend once who mentioned men who were " better through text" implying certain men ONLY have game when they inbox women .

Obviously not, height is another factor besides looks.
It's a concept here in Sweden too, maybe not quite as much emphasis though. Most girls I've talked to about it think height is somewhat important, and some of them are extremely attracted to height to the point of ignoring 'bad looks' if he's tall as 'compensation' for it.
