Don't waste your time with it. It was so bad. It's like the "The Last Jedi" of the Avengers series, they totally jumped the shark.
Not that the Avengers was anything special to begin with, it's a fun ride and all but pretty mindless, but this one was just flat out bad.

Let me get this straight
This movie is the culmination of ten years and twenty movies worth of lore and build up. The plot never lags, the characters feel true to form, the partitioned groups of characters are all done justice with hilarious banter and sometimes even gripping fight scenes, all this while never feeling rushed or confusing, and to top it all off you have what could be one of the most compelling and well developed villains in movie history
Oh yeah, and this one time the winter soldier picked up Rocket Racoon and used him as a side arm
And your experience was ruined because one of the characters used a (clearly temporary) weapon that seemed slightly goofier than his previous weapon (an indestructible, seemingly sentient shield that behaves like a boomerang)?

Yup. Pretty much. Disney ruins everything. Kind of like how the are ruining starwars. I like your input, but you wasted your time doing so. The comics are so overwhelming more emotional and more DooDooDoo of every character. In comics. Now cap has and should have been killed off in the civil war. But no no no they have one more year of contract, let's give him two gay ass shields! Comics, Are ever, Will ever, And have ever been better at making out super heroes more real than fake ass PC Hollywood bullshit. Cap does in the civil war! They're absolutely ruining star wars. Not because they're Disney. Disney isn't some giant monolith with one person making all the decisions. Lucas film is run by faggot ass male feminists and witches like Kathleen Kennedy.
Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm are run by different people. I think the comparison is absurd and that infinity war is one of the greatest accomplishments in cinematic history.
Not that it's one of the top ten movies ever made. But juggling all those pieces and being that entertaining. The mechanics of how they did it is impressive as hell.
I can't fault it.
I don't love every marvel movie. There are some great ones and some stinkers but the vast majority are mediocre.
This movie, the ambition, the competence of it, and the experience itself, it absolutely floored me. I can't say enough good things about it.
Now, if you wanna have this conversation after captain Marvel comes out, I think I'll be signing a different song...
