I thought i'd share my first realisation that i'm not being told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth about female nature (eg., sugar & spice & all things nice).

I was 9 years old, and forced to sit next to a blonde princess in class for some project. For the whole day she keeps quietly grunting in my ear "i'm gonna batter you after school". For the non-brits, "batter" means to "beat up". I just ignore it, and get on with getting my shit done. So school finishes and we part our ways. I'm walking home and she's stood outside my house blocking the entrance with another girl. Soon as she sees me she screams "I'M GONNA BATTER YOU". I roll my eyes, pick up a tiny little flake of a stone, literally a flake smaller than a finger nail, and throw it at her to make her move out the way. It hits her hand and bounces, she immediately breaks down crying and screaming and runs away.

So, next day in school the Headmaster calls me into his office. Sat there are her parents looking like they wanna rip my head off. The Headmaster goes into a rant about me attacking her on the way home from school. I respond with "she said she was gonna batter me and was waiting for me outside my house". The Headmaster at that moment had his own realisation moment, looks at the parents, looks at me, looks back the parents again, looks back at me and then said "No, better, she said she was going to better you". I protested "No, batter me, she kept saying it all day and outside my house said she's gonna batter me". The Headmaster not wanting to embaress the parents ended the meeting by telling me it's wrong to attack girls etc and if I do it again i'll be in big trouble etc.

I walked out of the office for the first time in my life realising that girls lie, girls make up false accusations, girls stir up shit, and if you try to defend yourself they'll go crying to mummy & daddy with some bullshit story that you attacked them to try to get you punished.

I had many other experiences of realisation during the rest of my life, but this was the first real eye opener and put me off going near or talking to girls for a VERY long time indeed.
