So there's this article that released hours ago on Fox Business...

https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/unmarried-women-lack-economically-attractive-men-study

...that introduced me to a term that's as superficially biased as it comes; "economically attractive". Long and short of the article is that women who aren't married are opting not to marry within their station or below because of a lack of men making money above their station. Ideally these woman are looking for the classic American man...college educated with a white collar job and making enough coin to support them when (or if) they decide to have children.

Problem is...that man doesn't exist anymore. Hasn't for at least 20 years...maybe more.

The fact of the matter is this, more men in the US are opting to skip college for a number of reasons the article OBVIOUSLY omits. Why go to college for a 4 year degree in field you're not garaunteed to even get employed in, with a debt hanging over your head that'll take your entire professional career to pay off? Majority of men are opting to go to trade schools, to work professions said trade school will literally INSERT you into. The pay earned in these trades (HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Masonry etc) out of the gate is good, but obviously not what a junior exec at a Fortune 500 company makes. And for most men...we're ok with that.

I don't want to make this to much of a MGTOW advert...but it is what it is. Men are willing to make a little less and live comfortably within their means. We still have our toys. We still have financial freedom. We still own property. What we don't have is a degree equivalent to what a high school diploma was in 1999 and a $100k debt looming over us. Majority of men will tell you given both options...they'd choose getting a trade over a degree.

That being said, 21st century women have been fed a lie. That lie being the formula for "Mr. Right" for them is the same formula it was for their mothers in the 80s, grandmas in the 70s and great grandmas in the 60s. Like I said before...that man doesn't exist anymore. The 21st century man has adapted to how the socio-economic landscape has changed. A landscape that see essentially equates a man to a resource...to be used and discarded. How did we adapt? By moving away from the complex built upon relagating us to the roll "good little worker bees"...college.

Wealth does not equate to happiness. A man can be happy and content living a life where he makes enough to be comfortable, persue his own interests and be secular in his advancement. And that's what many of us have chosen willingly to do...go our own way. Is that to say every man who has is MGTOW? Hell no. Plenty of them don't even know what the hell MGTOW is. The label isn't important, the ideal of it is. A necessary byproduct to a series of systems and institutions that hasn't benefited the vast majority of men for decades.

But MSM will of course paint it in the light of "it's men's fault" and "men aren't good enough anymore"...which is a bold faced lie. What women are experiencing is the natural conclusion to a problem they themselves created. The pursuit of "equality" with men economical has essentially broken the ties between us domestically. As little girls, 21st century women were told "you can do anything!" Problem with that is they mistoke "anything" for everything. And in that pursuit, 21st century men decided to step aside and say "do you, queen". And while we're doing us, building our cabins in the woods, driving our fast cars, going to the gun range, the gym and the local watering hole...women are left asking "where have all the men gone?"

We haven't gone anywhere. We just opted out of crappy deal. Society and media wants to put the decline of the western family structure on "men who can't cut it". That's a narrative created in an attempt to shame us back to the plantation...and we're not falling for it.
