LOL, but it's true though. Have you seen recent animes? The male protagonist seem to be going their way much more now. Usually chasing success or solving some big problem. if they have a woman, she is usually dead or something and they just remember her in flash backs. Animes for younger audience introduce a lot more broships instead of lover interests (YuGiOh Vrains is a good example. He is a young MGTOW, who works with his best bro to solve solve some mystery and his rivals and new friends are all males as well. I think there are only 2 females in the show so far who contributed to the story)

Manga is drawn by virgins for virgins. The author literally wishes this could happen to him, guranteed. It's like the adult version of watching the clouds on your back and day dreaming about what-if scenarios. Japan is like an entire nation sexually repressed, sexless virgins, I feel bad for them.
