Theres this opera Mozart wrote/composed called cossi fan tutte. These two men are in love with these two women but their older friend tells them that these women don't truly love them and to test them. Sure enough they find out that the old man is right. In fact cossi fan tutte means "They're all like that" . Even Mozart knew.
