There was a thread in Dating Over Thirty about male order brides being slaves and whether marrying them was ethical . I mentioned how in certain countries( especially eastern european ones) women outnumbered the men significantly and a chance to move somewhere and meet a man would be welcome.

Naturally I was attacked for my statements and someone asked in what part of the world their could POSSIBLY be a gender disparity between men and women . I mentioned that there were two rather intense conflicts and some other relatively difficult periods in Europe where a few thousand? Hundred thousand? Million ? Tens of millions? Oh no Hundreds of millions of people died and the overwhelming percentage of them just happened to be men .

Naturally I was down voted for sharing the truth . Men got to create the patriarchy because we get to do all the fun things apparently but somehow it's forgotten WE are expected to die or fight for the life that makes society possible.

If you don't want the responsibility for maintaining and protecting your way of life then women damn sure don't deserve the right to try to become leaders of it.
