What bugged me about captain marvel is her excuse for not fighting thanos was "I was busy on other planets" like Fucking THANOS wasnt a threat to those other planets, like THANOS wasnt hoping around the galaxy with a pit stop here and another there. And how in the fucking world did the avengers buy that? This stuff is what makes me think that Adam warlock was intended to be the last minute overpowered character introduced to the mcu that deals with cosmic stuff. He could have not been born yet or perhaps was trying to follow thanos but was to slow, or something that would actually make sense. And the fact that he could avoid the Mary Sue by having flaws of naivety or propaganda in him or whatever gold chick was gonna do to make him fight star lord would have made him all the better.
