Collectivism is not, necessarily, the problem, in and of itself.

Humans have survived because of collectivism, we require social groups, we seek them out, we are improved by them if they are not toxic or tyrannical.

The problem is ANY ideology that does not strike a balance between individualism and collectivism. The problem is hierarchy, pure and simple.

The most superior human societies are those that organize themselves in localized, sustained, egalitarian, and individualistic modes. The best collective is the collective that serves the individuals within it, one that allows individuals with common needs and goals to achieve together what they cannot achieve alone. Beyond this, there are mechanisms any collective can put in place to thwart any tyranny that erupts by any individual or faction. Furthermore, there are mechanisms to thwart dogmatic groupthink. This is the direction we must be moving towards and experimenting with now, in an era of collapse. Collapse is coming, and the previous approaches (of religion, government, capitalism, authoritarianism, representative Democracy, technophilia, reformism, industrialization, domestication, etc.) are simply not going to work any longer.

Traditonalists

I was over at a very right wing sub earlier and there was a thread about MGTOWs, and they were all saying how it's bad and how it's for losers. And now I come here and this thread about Traditionalism is saying how it wants men to be slaves to women and so on.

I don't see why we need to have this schism of sorts, Traditionalists and MGTOWs would benefit from each other greatly. If we became a one unified movement we would become more influential.

We have a lot more in common than we think. This infighting stems from misunderstanding each other's ideals so both sides resort to stereotypes - Traditionalists are pushovers who want you to become a slave, and MGTOWs are fat neckbearded losers who failed with women.

And then there's also a lack of understanding of reality on both sides - the Traditionalists who dislike MGTOW fail to see the evolutionary reality of gender relations and always believe in a small 5% of "good women" even though AWALT exists, while the MGTOWs fail to see that they don't have to subject themselves to a lifetime of ignoring female relations by accepting that everything is lost and nothing can be changed about gender relations in society (and I am not advocating TRP plate spinning)

Traditionalism and MGTOW has a big thing in common - disdain for the modern world, specifically how we (and our ancestors) have let gender roles transform from male authoritarianism to female authoritarianism. If we create a mass movement which stresses GTOW as a revolt and traditionalist values at the same time, we would at least create turbulence in society and fear in the liberal leftist politicians, and if not change then at least some chaos that would open us a window of opportunity. I see a lot of potential in converting MRAs over to this - their demand of egalitarianism must be replaced with an acceptance of hierarchy and a love for futurist violence.
