Chivalry isn't even a real thing pertaining to courtesy. They were the standards of training knights, similar to how military is trained today. It doesn't have anything to do with treating women. Chivalry comes from the French word for horse. It really just means rules for knights or people with horses. It has no fuck8jg thing to do with women.
The three standards of chivalry were charity, mercy,, humility. Charity is just sparing some of your time to help disadvantaged people. Mercy is being conscious of your advantages and treating each other with respect/courtesy. Humility is recognizing your mistakes and not overattributing value to you or your superiors.
Basically chivalry is just "don't be an asshole"

It's the idea that the man should open doors for women. Push their chair in. Pay for the bill. Walk on the street side of sidewalk when walking together. Basically the guy taking the shit end of the stick so the woman can feel like she is special.

How much someone works aside, on average, men get paid more than women for the same work. The cause of this is because more men than women negotiate their salary during an interview.
