How is getting married good financial advice? If you're going to make a statement with conviction, I'm going to have to ask you to explain your reasoning because I cannot fathom how telling someone to stake everything on a childish delusion like "love" is a good idea.

That's what people here in SE asia advise you: Married, and get money.

This is not those sob Malaysian chick-flicks, you are struggling, married, and boom, monies. In reality, married, and expect your wife to turn completely ballistic, more demands, more narcissistic, less loving, and more willing for divorce to be with... of course, a richer guy than you.

First guys advice is absurd. He makes it sound as if you can simply choose to stay married. She can divorce your sorry ass at any time for any reason.
