back when I was a long haul truck driver, these signs literally made me go off the rails in my head. not only did nobody love me, but I had nobody in my life. those signs inspired lengthy, depressive chats with myself.. and I have to wonder how many suicidal individuals used them as a spark of reason to floor it and close their eyes.

be social with people you care about is nice. it's just rare. usually its a few close friends, but they eventually get families and then you rely on your girl to socialize, but they are monkey branchers and in and out of life. i love being alone but it's nice to be able to shrae something nice you saw or did.

I became a narcissist after discovering MGTOW. Had plenty of positive friends and relationships before, too. I've just learned to be a cynic and said fuck everyone else, I'm alone on this earth and can't trust anyone but myself. I'm as self sufficient as it gets, and a lot happier because of it.

Hopefully, none but I understand where you're coming from completely. Valentine's Day, many. Whew, it used to be a very depressing day during my blue pilled days. I remember one year, I was so desperate for attention from a girl that I actually considered going to a strip club. I didn't follow through and spent the rest of the day thinking about how pathetic it was that I hadn't managed to get with anyone.
I did things that I thought would attract women. I had a car, my own place, not a significant amount of debt, a functional drama free family and I didn't do drugs. Apparently, I fell well short of the expectations of my female peers.
I really really wish that I knew then, what I know now. Guess what happened to all the women that gave me the "you're a good guy but..." talk. They all ended up as single mothers. Every. Single. One.

Perhaps so, I have hope for the future but it's a grim dawn realizing that the probability of me meeting the perfect unicorn is about the same as me winning the mega millions jackpot. The real winners of the lottery are those that choose not to play. I liken relationships the same now. The chance of fulfillment or "winning" is slim and you're likely going to have to pay WAYYYY more than you will win. It's a very poor return on investment for most men.

Reminds me of that suicide bridge in South Korea, a popular suicide spot. The government put up positive messages all over the bridge in hopes of reducing suicide rate. Messages like "you have so much to live for" or "think of your parents". Result? Suicide rate went UP.

the longest marriage that isn't a total shit show is in my extended family, 50+ years. but they're loaded and the dude basically built himself a 2nd house so he can be an old man hermit and fix stuff and be alone. even they had issues. besides that can't think of one. even this guy i know at work, older kind of retired giga-Chad. super handsome and business owner totally killing it dude. wife is older now but you could tell she was a 9 in her 20's. even that dude looks stressed when talking about his wife.
