So I just watched Forrest Gump again after a long time, and it's totally different watching it from a MGTOW perspective. Forrest meets Jenny when they are young and they are great friends. Forrest being the 'nice guy' that he is always pays close attention to Jenny and does everything he deems necessary to please her (even gives her his medal of honor after fighting in Vietnam). While Forrest is working on his career in the Army, Jenny is sleeping around doing drugs. Forrest becomes one of the best ping pong players in the world, Jenny is still hoeing around. Forrest becomes a millionaire in the Shrimp business and invests in Apple, after which he is a 'gazillionaire'. Jenny meanwhile gets depressed with the drugs/sex lifestyle and runs back to her childhood sweetheart Forrest, who of course takes her right back in. He asks her to marry him, which she declines. They have sex, and Jenny ends up having Forrest's kid without telling him. Then after she finds out she has AIDS from all the sleeping around she did, she then asks Forrest to marry her.... All I can say is that it was really strange watching Forrest Gump again after so many years, but this time from a MGTOW perspective.
