I respectfully disagree. But assuming you are correct, do women have no agency? Why can't women strive for what they need in a relationship? Why must the orgasm burden fall solely on the man?

If a women genuinely desires a man, her orgasm will not be a problem. If she's settled for a man and is angry about it, she may have trouble orgasming -- especially if she eschews communication. Some EQ these broads have...

What do you define as the Manosphere? Do you include evolutionary psychologists like Dr. David Buss? I hope not. However, it is true that any sort of reactionary politics are in reaction to Capitalism. It is known.

I guess you haven't been studying intersectional dynamics for long? That's OK. Read up on Dr. David Buss (e.g., 37-Cultures Study) and the OKCupid study, ad infinitum.

I never said women needed to settle. Just don't decry falling marriage and birth rates (which I don't decry). Men are also free to self-actualize now.

It's a very logical narrative grounded in the data. Women strive for top men (who they genuinely desire) until they can't achieve those men -- then they settle for Billy Beta (who they put up with).

He's a 6'4" muscular Leftist (or plays one on TV). I'm sure he doesn't empathize at all with the plight of the average man. "Just be yourself, bro! Works for me!" At least he's Leftist-ish and not a Ziontologist like milquetoast Scott Galloway (also a blame-men-firster).

Good point. But I think it is nuanced -- women PROPORTIONALLY seek out such violent content more but men still dominate the consumption of all forms of adult content.

I suggest you embrace your sexuality and find women to be with. How old are you? 30s? 40s? You are in your prime in terms of attractiveness to women of all ages. And you've lost weight and are taking charge of your life? Women are sexual beings too. Don't overthink it and moralize yourself into more unhappiness.

Why adhere to traditional gendered expectations for you as a man? Women are free to eschew marriage and children and you are too. I see marriage providing no net benefit for men. Sure, if you want to sacrifice for others (wife, children), then go ahead and sign up for it. But, as a Leftist, you could save that energy and apply it to others and to worthy transformative causes.

Historically, few men have actually cared about "legacy." It's just been "what you do" and men often just reluctantly accept the lack of freedom and resources drain that supporting and raising kids entails. This is changing though.

I don't refute anything you wrote. Except that the USA situation has in fact spread -- Europe, industrial Asia, etc. Feminism pretty much won. Women would rather work for soulless corporations and stay single than work with a man and raise a family. Having said that, you may want to move to the developing world and try to find traditional women there to implement your strategy (but I still think it's a bad idea to tie the knot).
/r/Divorce_Men16/03/24 03:29 AM
3

What do you mean by "traditional family household structure?" What's the norm has changed over time. Furthermore, Feminism destroyed the 1950s-style nuclear family structure. We can't unscramble the eggs. You'd best abandon pipe dreams and focus on optimizing your happiness going forward -- which really shouldn't include the traditional, feudal institution of marriage.
/r/Divorce_Men16/03/24 12:48 AM

I disagree. RP does not neglect to take into account that women in general prefer to be with men in their age group up to 6-7 years older. In terms of arousal. But women's relationship and sexual strategies can be much more complex including not only arousal but also attraction based more on material issues such as resource provisioning and parental contributions and protection. Both sides of the dual-mating strategy.

Remember that, despite what our female-correct, gynocentric social order tells men, men are actually in their prime attractiveness to women when men are in their 30s. This assumes you are in OK shape and make OK money. As a newly single dude, if you improve yourself a bit (you may not need) physically and financially, the world will be your oyster. You'll just need to keep clingy women who want to trap you (in marriage again) at bay. Go, cat, go!

Many still do it because men have been conditioned for the last 5,000 (post-Agricultural Revolution) to focus on monogamy and providing for society. Feminism has destroyed those norms -- we need to catch up and read the memo (and eschew traditional roles and self-actualize).

Exactly. There literally needs to be warnings given to young men: You might continue to have robust sex for quite a number of years. But, over time, she will probably lose interest. At that point, one of the main selling points of marriage for you as a man will be gone. You will be unable to obtain sex elsewhere easily due to societal and legal norms. Women are hardwired to want mates who are "better" than them. This is Hypergamy. Marriage is only about 5,000 years old as an institution. Humans evolved differently - we are never satisfied completely. Back in hunter-gatherer times, disgruntled women could go hang out with different sub-tribes from time to time. Disgruntled men could go hunt or go solo or go hang out with different sub-tribes. So don't expect different outcomes. Hardwiring is hardwiring.

If they can't get both from one man, they may try to find aspects from multiple men. So your wealth isn't a visceral turn-on but is an emotional one (at best, if even that).

I certainly hope you are right. But I don't see it. Women might want their male partners to do more housework but it doesn't increase their genuine, rip-your-clothes-off desire for hot monkey sex -- which is what most men want. Marriage and LTRs lead inevitably to dead bedrooms. Just say NO!
/r/MensRights12/12/22 09:14 PM

Was it a random study? Do women find men who do MORE household work more attractive (nothing mentioned about that in the article). Anecdotally, I posit that women don't get turned on and more sexual with partners who do more housework. Men are damned if they do or do not. (My conclusion: men are much better off physically and mentally if they avoid LTRs and avoid marriage).

In the Bay Area now, with more men than women, you're in for a hurting. Choices are sugar babies, sex workers, foodie-call women and older women looking to settle down (if you can pass their hypergamous filters). If you go into dates (although who "dates" anymore?) with these criteria in mind, you might be better prepared for what you encounter.
/r/MensRights12/12/22 06:54 PM

We need to know more about your background. What are you comparing the US dating scene to? To that of Colombia (more traditional, find mates via friend groups) or, for example, Germany (probably the same as the US'). You are also 10 years older which may affect things (but maybe in a good way as men are prized more until they hit their 40s).
/r/MensRights11/12/22 05:14 PM

As a fellow Leftist, I feel men are better off NOT pursuing LTRs with women at all.

Take some time first to focus on yourself. Then, after you have mapped out what you want to do with your life, consider approaching women -- but don't limit yourself to women your own age (unless that's all you want). Finally, don't get married again.

Exactly. They are now free of traditional gender roles but want men to stick to the same. At the same time, they want men to be kinda-sorta-women. They can't accept that, with the death of traditional gender roles, that men might want to just be men and self-actualize in terms of sex.

You've hit the nail on the head. There is no going back. We are in a new social order. Women will probably only be happy chasing after so-called alphas. The 80-90% of men she finds undesirable should liberate their minds from traditional gender roles as women have from theirs. These men should embrace casual couplings and other forms of release whilst saving their resources for themselves. Bob pining for traditional marriage just ain't going to work anymore.

We are now in the post-marriage epoch. Women would rather breed with top men and raise children alone than be saddled with a beta. Of course, women are happy to have beta men provide for them and top men's spawn. Kids will adapt over time but our society will never be stable as it may have been under Enforced Monogamy.

The first link is from the traditionally conservative group, Institute for Family Studies -- quite biased in their favor for anything and everything traditional and of the past social order. The problem with the studies posted in the other links is the focus on traditional marriage as the only rubric that counts -- whereas we are now living in a post-marriage social world order (in which, some other studies indicate women and especially men are much happier being single and mating now and again)…

This isn't an easy question to answer. Women are doing nothing wrong (unless you adhere to the notion that traditional societal ways are the best). Some critics might point out that the odds aren't in favor of modern women finding a top 5% man with all the 6's, but women would prefer to compete for him rather than return to the old ways o…

Men in their 30s are in their prime even if balding and overweight. You may have made something of yourself and are a good prospect for the provisioning and parental support aspects of women's dual-mating strategy. And I'm not saying anything is wrong with that (as long as you don't give up on your relationship and sexual desired outcomes for others')! Good luck to you!
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/21 02:19 AM

Men can and should strive for self-improvement. Gym. Education. Making money. Being a happy person in and of themselves. Doing so will always increase one's chances. But the odds aren't good for the average man.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/21 02:17 AM
2

Good question. And I need to bookmark the sources. There have been a number of studies and surveys. Data and reports from several dating apps show that women swipe right about 10% of the time -- if that. Men swipe right 50% of the time. The General Social Survey has shown for several years that young men are having less and less sex whereas women's decline hasn't been so steep -- the conclusion is that women are bedding top men at a much higher clip than ever before.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/21 02:16 AM

I'm not saying it is bad or wrong what women do -- it's just innate Hypergamy. I accept them as they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 11:59 PM
74

Men need to understand that 80-90% of men don't trigger infatuation. As such, men need to chart their own course and maximize personal happiness and self-actualization and devise a relationship or sexual strategy accordingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 05:07 PM
1

The problem with 1) is that it flies in the face of Hypergamy in many instances. The top men who are surfeit for choice probably won't want you if you and every other women are after them. At least not immediately. Or at least not if you don't try hard (and perhaps in some instances reverse 3). Of course, most men wouldn't mind if women try to fight their hard-wiring and truly try to implement the above.

Women's goals can be dual -- obtain the best genes but also obtain provisioning and protection. Women, even in the face of Open Hypergamy as celebrated in our female-correct gynocentric social order, sometimes compromise -- they might obtain provisioning and protection from older men and compromise on genes and desire (or they can obtain the latter elsewhere).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/21 09:35 PM

Under Feminism, anything that benefits or pleasures men is verboten; anything that maximizes women's sexual and relationship goals is to be celebrated and advocated for.

I see the end game for red-pill men being self-actualization with or without sex and relationships. This means defining masculinity as we see fit, not hurting others, embracing freedom in the face of the female-correct, increasingly misandrist gynocentric social order (therefore, eschewing failed institutions such as marriage and traditional gender roles for men -- the sexless, self-sacrificing, disposable provider and simp role that men are still ordered to maintain by the gynocracy).
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/21 08:22 PM

I've met several of these Feminist women in real life that all have the same scripture: Men bad, Women Good. Okay, cool. Yet a lot of them still actively try and pursue men, except this time repeating blatant misandrist red-pill rhetoric and like... all men rape, patriarchy, etc. Stats are showing women are becoming more relationship-less, men are opting out of seeking casual sex all together, people are becoming more and more lonely; like... there are no good results being produced here.

Don't let her have that power over you. You are free now! The world is your oyster! Furthermore, understand women's nature so you can comprehend what they can and can't be to you in the future. For one thing, we know from data that most women have several orbiters-in-waiting before they end relationships. We also know women start most divorces. Go forward and self-actualize and don't let yourself get sucker-punched by women again.

I disagree with your framing. On the one hand, it's a question of degree: by default, women are much more able to obtain free sex than men will ever be; by default, as the data indicates, women are much pickier with mates -- the 80/20 phenomena so frequently mentioned on this sub. Men are much more likely to settle for women closer to their SMV than women are -- again, as the data shows us. As much as I too would like a BP world in which blank-slate equality is a reality, that isn't the reality …

The phenomena you articulate so well aren't from some warped implementation of Puritanism, they are directly resultant from Feminism under which anything that maximizes women's sexual strategies is good and divine and anything that maximizes men's sexual strategies is not just bad, but evil. However, women too must compete in the sexual marketplace against each other, and they do so with their most potent weapon - gaslighting and shaming men.

In the West, we live in a female-correct, gynocentric social order. Whatever optimizes women's sexual strategies is gold and whatever optimizes men's sexual strategies is frowned upon in the extreme. Women leveraging porn, OLD and sugar dating, and eventually LTRs to optimize their dual-mating strategies is now core to our culture. The bottom 90% of men, however, must still maintain levels of productivity (you may only be a sexless worker bee) and responsibility of the past with many fewer right…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/21 03:04 PM
1

I'm saying the data indicate that most men are attracted to 50% of women. That's all. And we may not be defining attraction the same way -- you may be focusing on the 10% of women you want for LTRs. I am not focused on LTRs. To each his own!

Socially enforced monogamy restricted both men and women. Now we are free, baby, yeah! But it could be argued that society as a whole suffers as birth rates decline as a result of radical individual freedom, but it is what it is. Maybe there are too many humans as it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/21 05:18 PM

As we know from the data, Chad is bedding multiple women (having hookups) while most men are going sexless. Chad has no incentive to be polite or wait -- he's got plates to spin and a harem to keep up.

As usual, you bring up good points. But I have to raise more counterpoints. I don't think it is helpful to only look at zero partner situations. A normal, functioning society (at least for the last 5-7,000 years) has had young men having much more sex. Having sex once every two-to-four years isn't moving the needle for young men in the West. I also feel that men aren't refusing to get into relationships; most BP men are very willing and happy to enter into relationships with women in the top 50-…

Men do chase all types of women ... for purposes of sex. If these women are 4s and above, generally. We can accept the bullet points you outline if we are given sex and not a lot of hassle before or afterwards. However, data shows women are having much more sex than most young men. Case closed. There is no solution. You can't unscramble the eggs. You raise a great point. We have rearranged Western society for the sake of women's orgasms (and mental and financial liberation). It's not really possible for average men to find average women for relationships nowadays. Not relationships that are rewarding and fulfilling for the men. Furthermore, men are held to traditional norms while women are not. The upshot is men have responsibilities without any authority. This makes marriage slavery for men. The best an average man can do is focus on himself, improve himself, find friends or a tribe and attempt to date casually. Or do something radical like move to another country.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 04:18 AM
10

I disagree. When we had enforced monogamy in the West, men who married could get sex from their wives for a good 10-15 years or so. And most people married early.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/21 04:14 AM
11

Social media didn't make women hypergamous. Women are innately hypergamous. 60+ years of Feminism coupled with new technologies have freed women to express their innate hypergamy openly. In fact, our now female-correct social order applauds women for doing so. Women flock to top men who then "hold" them in harems. Lesser men are left with little.

*rely You raise great points. Perhaps the enforced monogamy of the last few thousand years has just been an anomaly incongruent with true human nature. Perhaps we are reverting back to mass harems for top men and not much else for the bottom 80-90% of men.

It's a question of degree. Historically, men dated and mated with whomever they could and have no problem settling for average. Women, on the other hand, by and large, only date up -- unless circumstances force them to do otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 01:19 AM

I, for one, am not criticizing hypergamy. It is what it is -- a fact of Evolutionary Psychology. Just like men's sexual imperatives. But sexual imperatives inform a lot of behaviors even though society tries to ignore these phenomena and states that men and women are the completely the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/21 11:57 PM

I wish that were the case. The data shows the opposite. In our female-correct social order, we now have completely Open Hypergamy. If Feminists and laws countered Hypergamy, we'd see more marriages and births -- not the drastic declines we are seeing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/21 07:11 PM
4

I respectfully disagree. In the manosphere, the modern definition of Hypergamy is about women dating and mating up. Men don't do that. Men, in general, just want high frequency mating with as many women as possible.

Men's sexual strategy is unlimited access to unlimited women. Spread the seed. So it makes sense that the very top men are having incredible amounts of sex and surpassing high n-count women. But this doesn't abrogate the fact that in general women are having much more sex than the average man is. I would like to see your sources though. Overall, I don't know why we are arguing. It seems we agree on the basic facts. Furthermore, I am in no way being critical of women who deny sex to average men. …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 08:00 PM

Data like the General Social Survey which shows clearly women are having more sex than men are and more young men are virgins. Women are granting sex to top men and eschewing encounters with 80-90% of men. I'm not saying this is good or bad. I am just saying that most women (like you?) make rules for the 80-90% of men but break rules for Chad. For some reason, pointing this out triggers folks like you.

Jordan Peterson, although flawed in general, mentioned that there is always a threat of violence between men and men. In some respects, that makes men more civil with each other. With a rude and over-the-top man, you always have the option of smacking him -- of course, the cost may be very high (losing your job, going to jail), but it is there. However, you can't even think about smacking a rude, man-like woman.

Their hatred for beta provider men is so great, they'd rather grind corporate jobs for 50 years, eke by, die alone, but be the cool wine aunt who at least got to bang some Chads over the years. Remember those recent studies. Women and alphas are having much more sex than the vast majority of average men (the 80%). So it must be very common for these situations to happen. Note as well that women are less likely to ask for condoms from attractive men. At the same time, why isn't she using one of the many, many methods of alternative birth control?

In a way, the latter two quotes also emphasize open hypergamy. They still only want the top men (presumably they want to kill 90% of the men and save the 10% of Chads and use those Chads for breeding - let the Chads out of cages once and a while to breed).

In our modern, gynocentric social order, all women can have high n-counts if they so choose. Statistics also bear out that many more women than men are having casual sex these days. Men are simply focusing on hypergamy-driven casual sex by women as many of them face a desert of sexual access. High n-counts are convenient targets. At the same time, in terms of Evolutionary Psychology, the higher the n-count of the woman, the more likely it is that the offspring is not his -- so men alive today ar…

The point is the women riding the CC aren't riding it with the average joe. Statistics out there show women are broadly outpacing men in terms of frequency of sex. That proves (once again) that women are leveraging open hypergamy to bang the top guys. Some of us though understand that that is just Evolutionary Psychology and don't blame women but we also point out that not many societies thrive over time with low birth rates and vast swaths of sexless young men.

I'm saying it is much more than that. BP conditioning was useful in the past - it kept men doing the 3 P's - provisioning, parental involvement and protection. In return, women's hypergamy was kept in check. Feminism "freed" women to be completely and openly hypergamous. Men though are by and large raised to still stick to the 3 P's by default. However, without women reciprocating, it is a process for me to wake up to the new reality.

I added a comment to the thread after upvoting you: It's really not true that marriage benefits men. Men get more promotions and make more money because they have to -- to provide for the crotchspawn they were often forced into co-raising / having. Men may live longer if married because they are nagged into less risky behavior and enjoying life less.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/20 10:56 PM

So why then do you want to get married if you are facing work and housework?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/20 10:51 PM

I think you are right. That demographic exists. However, those women are still pining after the top 10% of men who are surfeit for choice. Those top men with high sexual market value don't settle down - why should they? Modern dynamics have allowed women to embrace fully unrestrained hypergamy and that leaves most men sexless and many women marriage-less. Absolutely spot on. I guess in the past, men were rewarded by society for sacrificing for the crap you outline. Sure as shit we are NOT being rewarded in any way, shape or form for putting up with that crap.

In this modern age, there is no substitute to being single! It's the only way, really! Think of all the miserable men you know dealing with this gynocentric social order -- in their homes, out and about, and at work. Just say no and stay single!!!

Supposedly the Cuties movie is a critique of how modern society "forces" women and girls to sexualize. Even if that holds some truth, why so overtly display children in such a sexual way? Gratuitous and unnecessary.

I respectfully disagree. We are in a new world social order and it is doubtful things will change back to the way they were. As such, we have to wake up (thanks to the red pill) and forge new paths towards self-actualization. It's not easy or pleasant but cold truth is better than happy fiction.

I think men would be happier in the new social order if men were allowed a smidgen of authority and power to match their responsibilities. Or easier ways to opt out of oppressive, traditional gender roles.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 08:53 PM
1

Good question. It made me think more deeply. I think it is the ratio of authority to responsibility. Men in the West have had almost all authority taken away by Feminism and the courts. Meanwhile, when it suits women, men are supposed to maintain the old social order set of responsibilities (get married, support the family and make more money than the wife, go to war, defend the family, work 9-5 and then come home to conduct housework) with almost zero authority. Responsibility without authority…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 05:47 PM

Your premise is incorrect. What most of us mean is "women get most of the benefits and have some responsibility; men receive almost no benefits and have a lot of responsibility."

In addition to the wisdom one gains as one ages, it is also wonderful to be much less obsessed with sex than younger men. It's liberating. For me at least. Women do very little for me on any front and I happily go my own way. Have to beat off older harpies with an ugly stick though from time to time.

OP wrote: Men are constantly told that they must work on their hobbies/career/work out "for their own personal satisfaction" or "to do it for themselves" I disagree. I feel men are never told to do things for their own satisfaction or self-actualization. Rather, men are always lectured to do things for others. Which, nowadays, means extensive responsibility with no authority. Why bother? just focus on oneself.
