Something something, emotional labor and toxic masculinity. How did we get to the point where the second a boyfriend or husband wants emotional support from their partner it’s considered unfair?

I've seen some posts where people say this video is about men and male loneliness, but I disagree. I think it's about women.

It's saying that women don't like when we talk to them about our things (including our emotions). It "annoys" them.

It turned out that they are not the super-empathic creatures that they claim to be. We already knew that.

But it would be unacceptable to show women as "not capable of something", so the solution is showing men as simplistic creatures, like dogs.

I'll say it again: it's not about men, but women.

And it's not that I can't take self-deprecating humor. I can, but currently I'm very tired of this shit.

Because it's well known that men come home from work and you just can't shut them up talking about all that happened at work, complaining about the house. And where are these "man parks" and how come they only allow in men???/s

It's only harmless humor if the genders, sexes or races could be reversed and it would still count as just a joke. This is never the case between the sexes in The West.

Can we stop fucking blaming men for every little thing and address toxic femininity. The same toxic femininity that causes a woman to lash out at a man for hanging out with his friends. The same toxic femininity that expects men to open up and talk but the moment they do immediately shames and degrades them as pathetic and weak. The same toxic femininity that expects to use men as emotional tampons/therapists when needed but only expects the notion that men should be emotionless workhorses. The same toxic femininity that goes full circle and then blames men from not having any friends and/or expressing their emotions. This skit is fucking bullshit.

This skit even though is a comedy skit is just another reason why a man should never get into a commited and/or emotional relationship with a woman. If you're desperate and understand the risks then sure, at most fuck them if you want but don't expect to share any emotions with them. She'll just see you as weak, and/or will use what you say to manipulate or hurt you in a fight later on. Remember Briffault's law, she's only with you based off what she can get from you. Ironic thing is the video implies the notion of a dog park but getting a dog for emotional support is far more beneficial than the modern woman (who brings a lot more baggage including but not limited to manipulation, paternity fraud, divorce rape, false allegations, mental/physical disease, etc...). With the amount of simps, white knights and pathetic men who serve a cause that claims to be about equality while it destroys the lives of men I'm not sure if opening up to other men at point blank is a good idea either. (Ex, divorced betas who marry again and you associating with them will likely influence your own decisions. Let them rot from their decisions if they won't change their minds, we reap what we sow. )

Not "humor" if you ask me. They clearly state the equivalence of "man park, just like dog park". So man = dog. Man = animal.

Imagine this with the genders reversed.

The only thing is, it does touch on a real issue of male loneliness. But instead of taking it seriously and trying to look for ways to help, they reduce it to a joke and equate men with animals.

If that's funny to you, enjoy. But not me.
