The funny thing is: NO MAN is asking or forcing women to use high heels. They use those VERY UNHEALTHY SHOES to please other women, to compete with other women, to try to get more status than other women.

Well, how about they work one week at construction carrying bricks or raising buckets of materials? I want to see them make a building.

That's what's happening in Mexico right now. I might post a poster for a "women's strike" later with a translation, but yes, they want to cease any labors to protest. And here's the thing. Violence against women in Mexico is bad, but so is violence against everyone else. Just a few years ago there was this group called the "Ayotzinapa students" that disappeared south of Mexico City and so far no one knows what happened to them or why they got kidnapped. But we pretty much assume these guys are dead and probably in a grave somewhere. My point is, their gender never comes up. We know they're all male, but it's never emphasized. It's never "oh, they die because they're male."

And btw, women down south love their criminals. Anyone that has seen Narcos on Netflix will see that women are a big part of narcoculture. They certainly don't care if their men are say, rapists and murderers.
