eh, I guess i'm a bit like a chick then. Not the cheating thing, women are much better at that than men are, but have a "place in my heart" for ex's. By place in my heart, it's kind of like a festering nodule that occupies spaces and, as a whole, makes the organ function less effectively. Though the lesion can't spread or do any more damage, because it has been walled off by impenetrable fibrotic tissue, it is still there and always will be. Sometimes when i'm reminded of how that lesion formed, by either a song, location, picture, or in conversation, I am suddenly aware of the lesion and can even feel some of the pain from how it formed.
