I think this guy is ok and even if he is a bit odd he's still got his own character, so he's gone his own way, I don't drink it but whiskey is not just drinking it is the pinnacle of drinks it's enjoying the drink, age, tastes, flavours the heritage etc. etc. if you just drink to get drunk then you probably have a drinking problem and drinking whiskey to get drunk is like buying a tailored Armani suit to work on a building site.
