I know the comic is supposed to be women invading all the male spaces but still keeping their female spaces, and the bathroom example was supposed to be a hyperbole for the sake of communicating the point... but I've actually seen this exact seen with bathrooms A LOT.

In fact, I went to checkers the other day and noticed their bathrooms are this way now. Female or Male/Female.

My senior year i was up at the college bars with my roommate,and this was a common problem. Although the signs didn't explicitly say "female" girls would be lining up at the guy bathrooms because women seem to waste time taking selfies, talking, doing everything but pee in the bathrooms. It usually didn't become an issue until 12am when most people are well drunk.

At least on 1 or 2 occasions i had women ask if they could cut me in line and i'd just tell them to go pee outside. Pretty sure i had one girl try to cut me in line and i pulled her back

It's very similar in the metro trains over here. The first coach is reserved for women but they never fill it up to capacity. Meanwhile half the women go in to the other coaches with the men which are already full.

Whenever they have the 1 female restroom and then 1 male/female/handicapable bathroom, and it's the kind with a locked door and a toilet/sink inside, I always use the female's one.

It's the best when there's a line and I catch it right when a female is walking out before the next female in the line moves up to go in.

I always put on a huge smile and my glowing face when I walk out, and if any girls are outside waiting I just show some teeth with my smile and giggle, dimple my cheeks, whatever, just look cute.

They always go from pissed and confused to content. Like it just makes sense after I look cute to them, they are okay with it. They must think I am so woke I identify as a female and I'm so brave I don't even make a thing about it. They'll probably write a tweet about how some man tried to beat some guy up who identified female in the parking lot next to his pickup truck or something but all the girls got together and shamed him away. I don't know, I don't have any interaction with the aftermath after I walk away. I know it gets me something more than the default levels of contentment :)

OP, I am seeing this in a lot of conventions now. Male bathrooms are being either changed to female only or specifically to transgender.

Meanwhile, no one is changing it any female bathrooms.

I've seen this. The whole "men to the left cause women are always right." Except the bathroom on the left is for men AND women while the one on the right is women only. Horseshit.

In the bogs in the Doges Palace in Venice, one room, with about 10 little toilet rooms. 2 for men on the right and the rest for women. After 5 minutes of the 2 men's being occupied I go to one of the many empty womens. This little fucking attendant/cleaner woman starts no sir no sir pointing to the other side, where one of the mens opens and a fucking fat yank woman walks out.

I look back at the cleaner and say seriously? She shrugs and says all ladies were full then.

Fucking arseholes.

At Truck school there was a womans washroom and one marked handicapped but without the mens sign. The joke was that men are handicapped. And sure, they just put up the handi sign and not the men sign. But again, women got their own but ecentially the women could use the handi/mens room if they so desired.

Of course it was truck school attached to a truck company so there were only like 3 women in the whole place. But you know....math doesn't matter.

I yelled at these two cunts in the mens room at a concert once. They were just sitting in there looking at themselves in the mirror while an entire line of dudes was trying to take a piss. Their reaction was priceless, like I'm the first person to ever yell at them instead of just giving them a pass because they have pussies....
