First they ignore, mock, COMPROMISE, fight, then accept.

We are currently at the compromise step with Metoo. The issue is that compromise never actually means compromise.

Next they will probably start trying to fight by accusing men who are trying to protect themselves with accusations of sexual descrimination.

Perhaps trying to get them fired or taking the to court.

So basically guys are all fucked. We aren’t allowed to distance ourselves from them if possible, AND if we open ourselves up to them we can very likely get falsely accused by a woman and our careers ruined.

So this dumb bitch is trying to put us between a rock and a hard place. Perhaps if women would stop falsely accusing men then we wouldnt feel the need to avoid them. But no, that would require that she recognize that perhaps women are the problem. We all know that isnt going to happen.

Sorry, you can’t FORCE me into a no-win situation. I’m not going to be charitable by mentoring women if it means I could lose everything I’ve worked so hard for.

My thoughts are that this will hurt women in the long term. At this point, it looks as if they *finally* have that "respect" they always wanted. But it is the same sort of respect given to poisonous snakes, or loaded guns: they're *dangerous*.

And, at first, you feel smug that people are afraid of you. But then, when you realize that people avoid you, protect themselves against you, and hedge against you, it quickly loses its charm.

And I don't know of an easy way around this for women.
