So my parents admit I'm a failure and that I will never be able to look handsome or get a girlfriend. I don't mind anyways since I've already accepted it too. More reason I should just do whatever I want to do.

But then my parents will turn around and go "Oh and make sure you get a girlfriend and earn lots of money to take care of her". Seriously, what is it going to be then?

My dad threatened me that he won't die until he sees me married and my mom just wants a "good life after retirement", so I have to earn those six figures. The weird part is that when my parents told me my future job isn't going to pay a lot, I just told them it's no problem I just won't be married and I'll probably get a friend together and live in an apartment. My living standards are pretty low anyways and I've always been a boring person.

But then they go crazy and say "Oh you won't be happy like that", "that's not living life", "Society helped raised you for 20 years, now it's time to give back". And my favorite from my dad "There's lots of beautiful women out there. Are you really just gonna let them die without a good man to care for them"?
