17 years for me. Nearly lost it. Thank fuck I escaped and got my sanity and respect back. Too many guys my age suffer in quiet desperation. But they do it because men are loyal and it’s what’s society says is expected of them.
Quality time with my kids without a nagging never to be happy soon to be ex wife is priceless. Most women late 40s are not truly content and make men suffer as a consequence. Thank god my kids are still young

Listen to me man: Spend as much time as possible with your kids to build up memories with them, and give them letters expressing how much you care about them and tell them they need to hide these letters and not talk about it to their mother, and open them if they have any doubt about you. If you have a way of communicating with them stealthily (so only written text so the bitch can't overhear) get them to contact you through an e-mail or telephone number and to hide who you really are, you'll need to just pass for a friend at school so the mother won't ask any question. Also your kids need to secure their devices with password if they do that, because you can be sure she will rummage through their stuff when they're not there.
There is a very high chance the bitch will keep your kids away from you when you'll be divorced and she will tell them lies to make them hate you, you need to prepare for that in advance so that they'll know their mother is lying and they'll come see you when they'll be able to and their mother won't be able to stop them.

So who here has heard of Dave Ramsey? For those who don't know, Dave Ramsey is a boomer who gives financial advice that can be summarized as follows:
Remove all debt with the possible exception of the mortgage, which will be removed later.
Fiat currency is king, and investments in it will grow infinitely at 10% or more forever (ignore all the boomers getting BTFO by following this advice and taking jobs normally reserved for teenagers instead of retiring).
You should keep large amounts of fiat just sitting around before even doing anything else.
Now if you've completely lost control of your finances and have something like 50k of credit card debt which a good number of those in his book do yeah, abstinence is the only safe sex. But then you look closer and every single fucking one of those callers is NOT single, and most are also boomers. Gee, I wonder why they're having trouble keeping it in their pants... their own money, I mean.
Yeah, if you have given a female absolute power over your finances carefully disarming the threat by removing all those debt accounts completely is really the only option. A more nuanced approach is off the table because females are low order beasts incapable of grasping such things.
That said the advice he gives is not entirely wrong regardless. You never want debt with interest greater than inflation unless you have no choice in the matter which disqualifies everything except mortgages, possibly cars under limited circumstances, and any sort of no interest for x months deal. That and treating a credit card like a debit card and only spending money you actually have for the cash back. This all assumes that you are a man and have impulse control, if you'd overleverage yourself or spend more than you otherwise would the boomer take is sound.

He's also a tradcuck, so it's his blind spot but it's obvious from anyone on the outside looking in.
I mean my non mortgage debt broke 10k once and that was also only because of female interference of the hostile variety. Most of it also went away in a few months so you can quickly bail the water once you shoot the fool knocking holes in the boat.
