I'm sure women in tech with hopes of vindication through the merit of their ideas feel really good about that. From now on they'll never be able to escape the cloud of suspicion that they were chosen to speak to fill a quota.

Submissions will be initially blind reviewed by a panel of GitHub employees from a range of departments and backgrounds. Speaker information will be used in any final reviews necessary to break ties and bring a balance to the speaking line-up. Final selections should be complete by June 6, 2017."

Well actually since everyone do know how the selection process went, the actual reason and action for postponing the conference is discrimination.
