It's the most important issue. We wouldn't have this mess if it wasn't for boomers trying to convince younger generations that their uniquely horrible generation is like ours. Literally every issue these communities have with the world is only relevant to that generation and they're just trying to get younger generations to believe their struggles are the same as men whore are decades younger.
We have 20 something year old pretending Iike we live in the 70s. We have college kids fearing divorce rape and the metoo movement and shaking their fists at all the chad chasing hippies and their free love convinced that they're gonna eventually have to beta bux them.

Get over yourself. You don’t have a clue. Fuckups were made out of ignorance and greed (no generation is impervious to this). You have to view it in the context of the times. The boomer context was counter-culture (against an extremely conservative establishment), Woodstock, Viet Nam, etc. Visualise this bump moving along the timeline of history (the boomers). They did a lot of good things – satellites, computers, most electronics (the stuff you use daily), moon landings, etc. They did a lot of bad things as well – pollution, deforestation, habitat destruction, etc. They also did some very decent social systems – welfare, pensions, etc. I would venture that the boomer ‘establishment’ is more sympathetic to millennial changes than the preceding generation was towards boomers. Also bear in mind that there were a shitload of boomers so environmental damage was multiplied. The baton has been passed. Try not to fuck up.

The thing you're forgetting is that the boomers didn't drop the baton. They're still around fucking things up for no reason. They repealed the glass steagal act. They're still fueling the drug war with prohibition. They're still scalping health care and lying to doctors about shit like "gotta keep albuterol illegal because kids get high from it" yea that and cortisone.
While at the same time the DEA created a quota system that made it impossible for doctors to sell opiates to people who actually need them unless it's in bulk to a black market dealer.
They don't want to do the paper work for 100 patients so they'll do one set for one "patient" who they call at the end of every month and offer a bottle of 500 pills to.
We see this shit and who are we supposed to blame?
We were left with a system full of lies that makes no sense except that it profits the few by causing unnecessary easily preventable death.

All generations can be regarded as ‘shitshows’ by succeeding generations, The damage subsequent generations are capable of just increasers. The boomers brought the spectre of nuclear holocaust but succeeding generations are toying with genetics, nanotechnology and AI. This makes nuclear dangers appear small and irrelevant. Newsflash: all subsequent generations are left ‘holding the bag’. That’s the nature of progress.
There is an element of truth here but it applies to the US (boomers are all over the world, not only the US). I have noted that in the US there has been an extreme of ‘kicking the can down the road’ because the boomer generation are reluctant to move from their comfort zones. This has imposed a debt on descendants (children & grandchildren) that will bring them to their knees. I feel you are passing judgement on all boomers because of the behaviour of US boomers. This is because of the ‘American Dream’ and the consumption-based ideology of the US. The boomers in America had it good but it doesn’t apply everywhere.
