Edit: I'll add that I fly all the time for work, and I've encountered all kinds of people on planes, both good and bad from both sexes. Yes, I've encountered men who will instantly and aggressively grab the arm rest, glare at you, and keep their arm there the entire flight, even if it seems to be making them uncomfortable. And I've had women do the same, though not as often. And I cannot tell you how many times a woman's rolls of blubber have seeped over the armrest and into my space aggressively. I've had the same from men too, though not as often. I've almost asphyxiated from gallons of perfume or cheap aftershave. And I've been poked, prodded and bumped more times than I can count.

The thing is, neither sex has a monopoly on good or bad behavior. But there is one sex which presently has a TOTAL monopoly on sanctimony and privilege, and it's not men.
