Has anyone else noticed how when you look at couples from previous generations....the height difference between the man and the woman is not that big. Usually the guy is taller, but the woman is still somewhat close to his height. They're in the same range.

Couples now however have a larger height difference. Shorter girls are wanting to go out with taller guys. Not saying that all couples are like this.....but the average ones are. The height difference between the guy and the girl is much bigger now.

And you frequently see those odd couples where the girl is a dwarf and the guy is a damn giraffe. Just....why? I can understand it from the girl's perspective - it would be like a peasant who got the opportunity to dine with a king. But why would a guy choose a girl who's a foot shorter than him? Wouldn't he want a full sized woman he can properly hold and hug?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.
