I feel like a big problem with OLD is that men are often trying to date women well below their age.

I just read a post on Reddit about a guy who was in his 30's trying to pick up a 19 year old. He got insulted when they weren't interested.

It made me think of OLD, and how a lot of men are often going for "as young as they can get." I think if men would actually look for a women in their age range (no more than 5 years up or down) first, they would probably find more compatible partners.

Often, I (44) have guys who are 55 and up contacting me. Seldom do men my own age contact me. I get a lot of younger guys, too. But, I have more in common with guys in my age group, by they are few and far between.

What do you think? And I am bringing up men, because I feel they are the biggest offenders in this particular case.
