I don't see nearly enough posts about how we have gone our own way, hobbies we have taken up, or self improvement we are doing. Most posts lean negative against women and relationships, which is a great reminder to us all, but I want to bring a balance and have some positive posts about how we are livig our lives to the fullest without women.

With that said i've been fishing and kayaking with a buddy, using all his stuff right now, and I'm really enjoying it. Passes time, great exercise, and I might even bring home dinner. So I want to get my own equipment and was wondering if any of you enjoyed the same hobby. I'm in the market for a fishing kayak. I'm looking for a 12 footer, and one that will be stable enough for open waters (Long Island Sound). Do any of you guys really enjoy fishing or kayaking that could make some suggestions? I've looked at Bass Pro, they have the Ascend kayak ($650), but its like a hybrid kayak/SUP, I get the point to stand up and cast but not sure about it. Also thinking maybe LLBean since they are life time warranty, pricier ($870) but they have 25% off sales that make it comparable. So what have you used and what do you like?
