There are hundreds of books, I'm currently reading The Horus Heresy series. Very enjoyable.

For games, there's Dawn of War 2 which is decent in single player and awesome in multiplayer. If you don't feel like gaming yourself, you can always watch professional matches (look up Indrid Casts in youtube).

And there's table game which I haven't played myself. But a lot of people seem to like that.

Best of all, no SJW crap anywhere to be seen.
