Because we as a society have put women so high on a pedestal via all our social norms most women have not evolved a higher sense of self. Like getting free a's in school all your life and not realizing you don't actually know anything.

Umm.. I have encountered 40+ yr old women still on the lookout for that 6ft guy with 6 figure income to have kids & settle down with. They'll never realize that they have been lied to & still continue to think they can have it all.

I recently caught up on the Ghomeshi sex assault case in Canada. One of the alleged victims, who was caught lying, was being interviewed after the trial (source: youtube video on the case). The interviewer asked her about being caught lying during the trial, and she responded, "I told MY truth."

Because they have too many people telling them they are special snowflakes for their whole lives. That's all that really matters to them. As long as that is happening it doesn't matter what they tell themselves. All they need to do is tell themselves something that the majority of people are telling them and then that is enough. Even if they know internally that it's a lie. With feminism and the pc movement telling women that they are beautiful no matter what they do or say then the hamster can run at full speed and it will never hit them that it's running at all. Plus you have thirsty horny men telling them whatever they want to hear to get laid and validation from them because society says you need pussy or validation from women or you are a loser.
