When I was younger it took me forever to finally get a girlfriend. Not because girls never found me attractive, quite the contrary. I remember a girl once declaring to the entire class that she had a crush on me. My problem was that I was generally shy when it came to women - even ones I knew liked me. I never realized it then, but this anxiety I felt was a defense mechanism. It was a way for my body and mind to try and protect me from the disastrous future I would soon encounter.

I'm here to tell you something that is worse than financial ruin. It's worse than losing your house, your car, and the savings you have been slaving away for. What you will lose is the most important asset you have at your disposal - your mind.

You always read a common phrase on relationship subreddits, the whole "Oh she might just have depression." The female responsibility avoidance that comes hand in hand with that phrase is remarkable. I'm here to tell you, first hand, that you should not be helping her through "counselling", or randomly complimenting her, or wasting any time with a depressed woman (or any woman, for that matter). However, I'm going to focus on mentally ill women and why you shouldn't date them. I should mention that I believe most younger to middle aged women out there have some form of mental illness. When you compare their attitudes and personalities with women from past generations, the difference becomes very apparent. My grandmother was a saint.

When you date an insane woman, at first, you might think to yourself, "yeah, I can help her". Or "yeah, I'm strong enough to handle it." Let me tell you something - you aren't. It doesn't matter how mentally strong you think you are. The effects of this don't just happen suddenly - it is more like a snowball effect which occurs over a long period of time. It's like a tiny icepick in your mind slowly chipping a way bit by bit. Or perhaps a better analogy would be Chinese water torture. It's just a couple of small droplets, right? No big deal. After the 1000th drop, however, you begin to change your tune.

So how does this happen? What happens when you date a woman with "depression", or "bipolar", or "anxiety", or "OCD"? Well, it doesn't happen overnight. As time passes, you start realizing that you yourself are becoming just like her. Her little traits start rubbing off on you in all the wrong ways. You start finding yourself having a negative outlook towards things. You start finding yourself feeling things you never thought you would, or never wanted to. Hearing things like constant complaints and unconstructive criticisms essentially reprograms your mind to mimic their thought process over time. Grass suddenly becomes a dull grey tone. Water doesn't seem as refreshing. The birds outside sound more like screeches from a damaged whistle. Suddenly you are the depressed one. It doesn't stop there - because the longer you endure these little droplets of insanity, the further you become detached from your mind.

Now let's talk about the biggest issue - stress. Stress is the primary component of what is known as a "mental breakdown". It is the tomato sauce of this mind numbing spaghetti. For anyone that might not be aware, a mental breakdown is basically where you place your feet on the edge of complete insanity and look off the edge with a windstorm collapsing behind you. Think of a panic attack like seeing the most frightening thing you've ever seen in your life, but that thing isn't actually there. It's all in your head, you know it's all in your head, but your body and mind doesn't. You begin questioning yourself, your mind, and your motives. "Who am I?" Of course you will ask yourself this. How could this life loving person I once was make such a long string of terrible, cowardly decisions that landed me in the position I am in? Depersonalization may set in, a way of your mind to basically say, "who is this complete pussy I am attached to and how the fuck do I get out of here?"

Friends and family might suggest things to you - maybe you should see a therapist? You might need medication for your problems. A little pill that turns you into a zombie drone, a shell of your former self. It is convenient content with the way society currently functions. It is apathy in a small package, the only way you might be able to continue navigating through life. Common side effects may include your dick breaking. You know, just natural things.

The nagging, the obsessiveness, the complaining, the lying, the manipulation, the cheating, the small weights around your ankles weighing you down. Not enough to stop you entirely, but enough for you to notice, constantly. Walking through life is already hard, imagine doing it with something weighing you down on the journey. Eventually your legs will get fatigued from this extra weight, to the point where walking becomes nearly impossible. Now replace ankle weight with mind fucks, because that is what the modern relationship is for a man. Even with a well adjusted woman, the odds of you finding one that won't have some level of neurosis is extremely slim. A good woman would be a virgin, have a close relationship with her family, and also with God. She would know the value a man would bring to her life and would see motherhood as a blessing, the most important job in the world, not something to be sucked out of herself in regret, while being celebrated by like minded psychopaths.

Nowadays, these quality traits just don't exist, not like they did in the past. Even if you did find a decent woman to get with, and perhaps have a family, I often hear people tell MGTOW's "you will be lonely!" Gents, no 15 minutes of pussy is worth the heartbreak that will come in your 40's or 50's when a woman decides to leave you for her therapist. Oh you heart hurts now? Amplify that by biological love for children to the nth degree. You will have thoughts of suicide. Many men in the past have succumbed to these thoughts.

You can better yourself now, do what you want to do all the time, and have constant peace of mind for many years. Work on yourself, for yourself. Build a career you enjoy, take up hobbies, and find like minded individuals via communities like this one. Or you can endure all of the stress that comes with a white picket fence, only to be faced with the exactly same situation of solitude decades later. Oh, you thought being lonely in your 20's was bad? Try being lonely as an out of shape, mentally drained 50 year old. The only difference will be the money you will save and years of your life you will maintain. It's your decision.

Heed my warning. If you value your mind - something that should last much longer than any possible relationship - take this advice seriously. Do not get involved with women, especially crazy ones with purple hair, abusive pasts, or daddy issues.
