I could post my overly long thing about fatherhood again... but in a nutshell, men made a pact among themselves:

Stop fighting over women. We each get one woman each, a virgin, and her children are your children, your property. If she leaves you she has to leave her kids too. On your side, you must be faithful to her and her alone, you must provide for her and the children, protect them, house them, feed them, husband them, for they are your responsibility.

The fact that our position doesn't allow for optimal chances of survival for our species doesn't necessarily introduce any moral obligations for us to not hold it anymore.

Let me explain :

Everything is relative, there's no absolute truth; only what we experience matters.

Truth and morality are things we feel with the body, and even rationality is based on assumptions that come out of our innate sense of subjective truth.

(You can't prove from cause and effect that anything is true because you'll look for the cause of the cause, and then the cause of the cause and the cause, creating a loop that will never lead to a proof. There has to be an 'axiom' somewhere for you to make any progress, though it doesn't have to be in the form of words.)

Therefore there are no moral obligations; society or even your understanding of biology are no authority to dictating what your actions should be.

My idea is that MGTOWs have rejected some of the mainstream morality and forged their own values instead. And these values are based on their subjective desires, not on external authorities, and therefore do not have to include the survival of humanity as *an absolute need, something for which they should take responsibility*.

You still have the choice to buy into mainstream morality; however it is not a requirement, and you should know that it is your choice to do so. And, in doing so, you should know that "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation"

Hang on now- there are many MGTOW who are in the Red Pill Rage phase and "hating" on women but it's not a core tenet of MGTOW to never have sex or children. Only not to get married or cohabitate. Being MGTOW is about understanding the huge disadvantage that puts a man under while incentivizing women to abuse the institutional power they currently enjoy.

The difference between us and feminism is we don't get international broadcast abilities and use them for blanket statements about the other gender being bad across the board (like trying to wipe out father's day for a recent example.)

Thus your premise is flawed and your conclusion about the MGTOW position is similarly flawed.

Universe 24 was the experiment. If enough of us go our own way eventually women will be forced to embrace true equality rather than the current system where they hold a priveledged protected status while men are treated as mindless lackeys to be used and discarded as chattel. Maybe then we'll have a better society, either way the current system is unsustainable.

u/Darkrye, MGTOW is a response to decades of abuse and millenia of manipulation. The gynocracy pushed us. Most men here (myself included) are former simps and would have held up our side of the social contract. Feminism chose to show us what was under the mask and our logic said, "yeh, nah."

We're just trying to live. We're not trying to be able to destroy peoples lives at our hearsay or leave other people with our respinsibilities or sell broken damaged goods at full price. Its not us. We are simply walking away and bringing our brethren with us. We're not greasing the wheels with our blood anymore. If thats what it takes to keep the lights on in a world that shits on us and discards us, maybe a new paradigm is in order. A paradigm of knowing and transparency.

Our aim should be to preserve as much info as we can in indestructible forms and make it very public knowledge for the new age and if women want anything to do with ths future they will earn it or live as they should, as men's bed mates. Is that harsh? Maybe. Wanna know whats harsher? Our entire ancestries sacrifices, accomplishments and world is turning to ash because of petulance and "daddy says you have to let me play". Fuck. That.
