I was raised by an excellent mother, who's priority was raising her children. She's extremely smart and hard working, all of my siblings have been very successful with high flying careers and I can guarantee that it's due to my mother. Even though my family is reasonably sized, my mother kept her high paid career so that we could all go through private school.

We've all been raised to think that men and women are equal and that hypergamy is just ridiculous. Unfortunately all of the male siblings have at least found a couple of girls that have displayed very sexist attitudes, expecting the guys to pay at restaurants etc. Expecting guys to be providers for the household.

Its really quite depressing how many people out there hold very old fashioned attitudes even though it's 2017.

I think it's personally quite hard for my brothers, most of us just want a partner who has the same attitudes to life as us. We want our future kids to have a high standard of education and a bright future. All of those things are so much easier when they have the right family.

In the last five years, I've dated at least 40 women, there were only a few unicorns in there.
