When I think of casual marijuana use, or taking it to help sleep, or for medicinal personal use, etc. Basically, not being a complete burnout loser, every single day, then I see nothing wrong with that.

On the other hand, when I think of someone that’s unemployed and does nothing but smoke pot, drink, and play video games all day, then yes...that has “leftist dipshit parasite” written all over it.

I’m cool with it as long as it doesn’t get in a persons way to live a productive and self-sufficient life that doesn’t involve my tax dollars supporting them.

I judge alcohol use the exact same way.

Only reason I stopped the weekend unwind smoke sessions was because of nosy clients demanding piss tests during background checks. God forbid I relax in my own free time

Ever notice people that hate marijuana also seem to project a strong sense of self righteousness. Especially ironic to hear it from people preferring alcohol because prohibition once existed for alcohol. Would appreciate some damn empathy from alcoholics.

I don't like the idea of recreational drugs, i hate to see people coming to work high, I hate to see people driving high and I'll most likely be against it my whole life.

I don't associate drugs with liberalism and feminism, I associate marijuana with "idiots with no self control" or "slaves of instant gratification and cheap pleasure"

I don't smoke marijuana but its legal in Canada, my neighbour is a serious addict, and he is giving me a lot of issues, my condo smells like pot all the time, he can smoke all day, when he comes home from work at 1am he smokes on is balcony until 5am.

This is a huge lack of respect for us neighbours that are not users. I am sure there are ways to smoke is pot without disturbing us.

Its in the councils hands now to decide if marijuana will be legal or illegal to smoke in the condo area.
