This link was shared on my Facebook by a young woman saying that money is more important than love.

How about you strive to be financially independent and educated rather than being subservient to a man that has financial success. Yet, more often than not, I see women who like to sleep around advocating for toxic lifestyles like this.

Women can be doctors, lawyers, educators or people that can change the world for the better. We can see throughout history strong women who fit this narrative, even though it was hard work to achieve what they did. Women shouldn't strive to be some sexual plaything for rich men.

The underlying rhetoric here is that life will be easier for women if they look good, know how to fuck and find a rich "sugardaddy" to take care of them.

I was born from a woman, have 5 sisters, multiple aunts and female cousins. I wouldn't want ANY of them to want that for their lives and definitely wouldn't raise my future daughters to believe in this "golddigger" rhetoric. This is toxic nonsense perpetuated by the "hookup" culture of western society.

Women can, and SHOULD, achieve so much more than this.
