I’m a 15 year-old in high school. Learned about MGTOW a year ago and it changed my perspective about everything. I know my thoughts are wrong but lately, I think it’s the hormones, the pressure of all my friends getting girlfriends, and my parents constantly egging me on, but I haven’t really been thinking straight lately.

There’s this girl courting me or at least trying to. I like her too not just because she’s attractive but because she seems straight-in-the-head because she’s Christian and conservative. I am fully aware that these “Christian values” are only temporary until their true natures show but there’s this other side of me saying “those MGTOW men are bs, this could be the one” which is impossible to brush off. I haven’t really been in a relationship before so I admit I’m naive, especially compared to most MGTOW here who have personally experienced women at their worst. I also appreciate that because of trying to impress her, I’ve become motivated to work out and lose weight (-15 lbs in this month) and I’m afraid I’m gonna lose all these motivation if I start only doing it for myself. She’s also been kind to me and I don’t want to lose her as a friend if I say no, and worse, my friends getting mad at me because she’s a mutual friend. I also heard that girls will pursue you more if you reject them and I don’t want to be annoyed.

Aside from needing advice as to resolving this issue, I also need some kind of distraction away from these tempting thoughts. I’ve already focused enough time for studying as I’m a straight A student and as I mentioned, I’m spending as much time making myself healthy. It’s kind of hard being a young MGTOW because I can’t live independently yet and puberty is heavily clouding my judgement. Maybe there’s no be-all, end-all solution so maybe writing this post and conversing with you guys can be a simple outlet for releasing all these frustrations.

Necessary TLDR: Im in high school. A conservative-valued girl is trying to court me and I like her back and I can’t help it. I need some distraction.

Edit: Really appreciating the comments guys. They’ve been very helpful. And to others who want something to say, don’t be afraid to chime in, even if it’s to criticize me.
